The maths camp is an annual Easter holiday activity for secondary school students. The programme consists of daily maths classes, excursions, sports, night games, endurance treks and many other extra-curricular activities as well as daily talks on virtues, with personal follow-up of each student by their tutor aimed at improving the moral and spiritual education of the participants.
GUEST: Obuekwe Mogbo
Obuekwe Mogbo is an internationally experienced Senior Reservoir Engineer at Total with 11+ years in the Oil and Gas industry. He led the reservoir engineering of the giant world class deepwater Egina oil field.
He received his Msc in Petroleum Engineering from the Imperial College, London in 2007 and is currently on the Executive MBA programme at the Lagos Business School. He is married with kids.

The fruit of the excursion was already sprouting before the departure, it was noticed that towards the end, the boys became freer with their fathers, a father was spotted taking a leisure walk with his son and they were having a conversation like good old pals.
It’s not all about saying I believe. You can’t believe in a person you don’t know, you have to study the Catechism of the Catholic Church...you don’t have to be a priest or monk or religious to make it to our eternal home.
Since 1982, Helmbridge Study Centre, a project of the Educational Cooperation Society (ECS), a non-governmental organisation managed by the Opus Dei (an institution of the Catholic Church) through its science challenge assists secondary school students, especially boys to be well grounded in the area of science and boost their study habit.
One major effect of the excursion is that it boosts not only to the relationship between the father and son but for the whole family. Each time they return from the trip, they bring home some joviality that lasts several days.
This has helped me to sit down and find solutions to the problem. After putting efforts and I cannot continue, I seek for help, which make me understand better and faster. I have moved from having all Cs in my grades to having As and Bs
